9 bedroom, 9 bathroom Elizabethan mansion, lovingly modernised

The beautifully restored Baston Hall is set by two lakes in its own valley, with wild flower meadows, our native Aberdeen Angus cattle, rare breed sheep, woodland pigs, guinea fowl and chickens.

Baston Hall can accommodate up to 18 guests across 9 beautifully appointed bedrooms, with potential for 2 additional children to make use of extra beds.

There are 9 bathrooms (5 en-suite). The main house has 6 bedrooms and the adjoining stables have three ground floor bedrooms, which make it easier to host older guests or those with limited mobility

We also take bookings for smaller groups of up to 12 using just the main house.

Things to enjoy

A game of tennis on the court, croquet, badminton, table tennis, and giant jenga and giant connect four garden games to enjoy.
Table football and indoor games.
Stand up paddle boards, a rowing boat, and wild swimming in the lake.
A children's shepherds hut, ride on tractor, mud kitchen and slides for the little ones.

Inviting entertaining spaces

The ground floor of the main house is home to inviting entertaining spaces which boast comfy sofas and open fires and comprises of a large reception hall to unload and kick off your shoes, sitting room, large drawing room, dining room that can seat up to 20, and farmhouse kitchen.

The warm and sheltered courtyard is the perfect spot for the whole group to gather, cook up a storm on the barbeque and enjoy a meal al fresco soaking up views, switching off and feeling the restorative benefits of a stay at Baston Hall.
An evening stroll in the gardens at sunset is the perfect time to watch the resident guinea fowl and chickens return home to their roosting trees, and the wild ducks and mandarins nest up for the night on 'duck island'.

"Had the most amazing stay at Baston Hall with 19 family members. The hosts Rosanna and Ian catered to our every need and were on hand to answer any questions we had - whether about the house or farm life in general! The house was spectacular with amazing furnishings and it felt both luxurious and comfortable at the same time. The surroundings were picture perfect and we enjoyed taking a walk to the pub and admiring the views on the way. We would truly recommend this house to anyone looking to spend quality time with family or friends."

"Just retuned from a four day stay at Baston Hall to celebrate my wife’s birthday with the rest of our family.
Wow! What a fantastic place and such a great setting. We literally did not leave the estate from the time we arrived.......why would you!?
The main house and annex are decorated to the highest standard and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The decor is just stunning and the beds were heaven!
The grounds were beautiful and we had full use of the lake; tennis court; table tennis and fields.
On one evening we hired in a private chef as recommended by Rosanna and Ian and again, this surpassed all expectations.....a truly amazing experience and top top food!
We are already thinking about when we can next visit this gem of a place, up there with some of the best places we have stayed in around the world!"

"We just returned from a family holiday here and wow, what an amazing place, like something out of a dream. The house itself is really something special; the bedrooms and other spaces are all top notch.
Outside the 'estate' is huge and you are free to roam with the sheep and ducks! There are tennis courts, a lake with rowing boat and paddle board, areas to just chill and read with a glass of vino and great places for an outside BBQ.
If you want to escape to the pub (like me), there is a beautiful walk along the Worcester way to a lovely little local that sells great beer and food.
Anyway back to the review! Rosanna and team are great hosts that are on hand for anything you could need, we also had a very special dinner one evening hosted by a chef and company who came and did everything for us even the washing up.
So, if you want somewhere to retreat to with some good friends and/or family then you have found it!
It would be amazing to come back here some day in the future."

"We stayed at Baston Hall over the weekend with a group of friends and had an absolutely lovely time. We never left the property as it has so much to offer - paddle boards, row boat, footpaths all around the properly, lawn games, you name it! Rosanna and her husband were super hosts who set us up with everything we needed upon arrival and was available throughout the weekend for any questions."

"From the very first conversation with Rosanna, i knew that Baston Hall was somewhere a little more special than your usual country retreats.
Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, every item of furniture and every room decoration has been done the absolute highest standard- it was a pleasure to stay here.
Rosanna was so incredibly helpful, from recommending a private chef to showcasing the properties amazing farm walks- I really could not have been happier with how the weekend went.
We stayed as a group of 17, which in most cases you would find someone drew the short straw- however every room contains a superking bed and the house is more than able to accommodate that many people.
I will stay here again- i have no doubt about it!
Thank you again to Ian & Rosanna for a lovely weekend."

"We had a fantastic stay at Baston Hall - 16 of us aged from 8 months to 87 years ! A family get together which we try to do each year but our first stay at Baston Hall. Rosanna and Iain have created a wonderful luxurious Elizabethan country home which we felt totally spoilt to stay in. set in the most beautiful countryside it has a lake on its doorstep with a rowing boat and paddle boards to use. The main house with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, snug, dining room and huge lounge each has its own charm. The stable block close by has 3 further bedrooms and 3 bathrooms all of these were absolutely stunning. It’s obvious that Rosanna has impeccable taste, and each rooms furnishings individually thought through, with hand painted walls, and the most delightful fabrics, her attention to detail can be seen throughout.
We found Rosanna and Iain attentive when needed, giving us a wonderful family funfilled break away which was totally relaxed. Thank you for such a lovely family long weekend."

"What a wonderful find!
Having had to reschedule due to unexpected circumstances, our family’s spring break last weekend was idyllic.
New calves, ducklings and fresh eggs, one could not ask for more but, paddle boarding, tennis, boules, ping pong and giant jenga kept us all busy. The house was sumptuous with everything our party of 17, ranging from 4 to 80, could want.
Thank you to our hosts for your warm welcome. I hope you have an abundance of delighted guest at Baston Hall."

"Recently had my wedding and rented put Baston Hall for a week for both sides of the family (15 people) and, wow, I cannot explain how beautiful and amazing Rosanna's property is.
The rooms were amazing, clean, and beautiful.
The grounds are expansive and so well maintained!
It was such a great week away in the country side to unwind and celebrate our special week.
I cannot say thank you to Rosanna enough.
Highly recommended for family get aways."
